Lesson ninety seven :Who is wise ?

Imam Ali( A. S. )was asked to describe a wise man? He replied:

الْعاقِلُ هُوَ الّذِى يَضَعُ الشَّى‌ءَ مَواضِعَهُ‌

Translation

The wise is one who puts everything in its right place..

Brief description

There are a lot of remarks about the meaning and concept of wisdom, but above short phrase is the best interpretation made in this concern.

Wisdom is nothing else than putting everything in its right place, putting everybody in its deserving and suitable place in the society and showing grief and happiness, friendship and enmity, mildness and harshness, kindness and severity, worship, work and occupation and healthy recreation and any other work in its own right place and due time.
